Orwil Reserve Play Space
Project Overview
Yellowstone Landscaping was selected to upgrade Orwil Reserve Play Space for Frankston City Council. This upgrade has enabled an all-inclusive play space which has been established through combinational junior and senior play equipment. This playspace upgrade features a range of nature play elements which is an important factor to a child’s development through play. The nature-play embedded at Orwil Reserve includes mud-play, water-play and sensory-play.
Family Fun
The pre-existing open lawn area has remained, which is practical feature for families to use and for ball games to be held.
Overall Improvements
Overall, accessibility was improved with additional paths and new entrances. Additional trees and native plants feature throughout the play space renewal, as well as a BBQ shelter, shade sail’s and seating arrangements, making this space a comfortable family-friendly gathering location.
