Project Overview

All aboard ‘Deepdene Express’! Yellowstone Landscaping completed Deepdene Park Playground Replacement for City Of Boroondara.

This train-themed playspace allows endless and exciting play for kids. The journey begins at the ‘ticket counter’, where kids can play on the existing tram carriage. Other features include a combination play unit, senior and junior double swings, and a sky carousel spinner. Park amenities include shade sails, picnic shelter with seats and benches, drinking fountain, a BBQ and bike hoops.

Nature play elements include a water pump and creek bed, balance logs and boulders. Additional plants feature and installation of new shade trees to improve overall shade. This play space upgrade has greater accessibility for users with limited mobility and wheelchairs.
